6 Home Remedy Solutions To Combat Hair loss

Hair loss is more common in men than women. A number of factors cause hair loss. These include hereditary traits, ingestion of drugs, pregnancy, drug therapy and dandruff among other causes.
Application of certain remedies helps to reduce or stop hair loss. A number of these are actually home based solutions.
Amla Oil
This oil strengthens that hair and stimulates its growth. Amla oil is obtained through the boiling of the Amla plant in a solution of coconut oil. The solution is then applied on the scalp. It provides nutrients and enables growth of strong hair. To use it as a shampoo, simply mix the Amla oil with limejuice. Apply it on the affected area. This will stimulate hair growth and reduce the trend of hair loss.
Aloe Vera
From ancient times, the Aloe Vera plant has been used as a remedy for many ailments. It has also been used as a beauty product in the form of skin lotions and hair oil. Continuous usage of Aloe Vera for an extended period helps reduce the incidence of male pattern baldness. It intensifies production of nitric oxide in the body. Nitric oxide is essential for production of super oxide dismutane, an enzyme that accelerates the growth of hair in men.
Red pepper
Red pepper also known as capsicum is a strong remedy against hair loss. It works by boosting blood flow in the scalp area. With increased blood circulation, comes various nutrients essential for stimulation of the hair growth process. Red pepper also accelerates production of histamines that help to increase cell division and hair growth.
Safflower Oil
This oil plays an important role in ensuring efficient flow of blood to the scalp and hair. Apply Safflower oil on the scalp. It helps to enlarge the blood vessels around the affected area. The act of widening the blood vessels allows increased blood circulation and with it more nutrients essential for strengthening the hair follicle and thus facilitating hair growth in the balding area.
Saw Palmetto and Dong Quai
The Saw palmetto is a small palm plant. It contains fatty acids and phytosterols. These elements prevent the development of DHT. The saw palmetto blocks the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which contributes significantly to hair loss. This enzyme is important for the development of the condition Androgenetic Alopecia.
Dong Quai is a Chinese herbal solution that has been used to treat hair loss for a long time. It contains phytoestrogens, a chemical that inhibits development of DHT. Consistent application of this herb helps reduce hair loss and sets the stage for hair growth.
Fenugreek Plant
Immerse the plant in a container of water and let it soak for about 12 hours. Afterward apply the liquid on the scalp area and tie a piece of cloth around your head for three hours. Experts recommend repeat of the process continuously for a month. This will slow down hair loss and encourage hair growth.
Application of homemade products to fight hair loss is economical and safe. These products have no side effects and produce results within a reasonable time of consistent use.
